POLICIES & PROCEDURES

• Official Hours: 9am to 9pm.
• Overtime: Work outside these hours, if accepted, is billed at time-and-a-half.

• Advance Notice: Minimum of 1 week required.
• Rushed Booking: Available for an additional fee ($50 for sessions under 4 hours, $100 for over 4 hours) and subject to availability.
• Pre-Production Meeting: Required before booking a new project to ensure thorough preparation and mutual understanding of needs and expectations. This meeting is preferred in person, but accommodations can be made if necessary.

• Deposit: A minimum deposit of 50% of the estimated total is required to secure a booking. This deposit will be credited toward the services received.
• Cancellation Policy: Half the deposit is forfeited for cancellations the day prior to the booking, and the entire deposit is forfeited for cancellations (including no-shows) on the day of the session.

• Billing: Starts promptly at the scheduled time, regardless of the client's presence. Billing is in 1/4-hour increments.
• Setup Time: All setup time (including load-in, camera setup, lighting placement, level setting, client data preparation, and video burning) is billed as regular studio time.
• Lockout Sessions: Based on 10 hours per day for two or more consecutive days. Additional studio time during lockout sessions is charged if it exceeds 10 hours.

• Payment: Due in full at the time of service. Pre-payment is welcomed.
• Accepted Payments: In-person cash or credit. Checks are accepted for deposits on sessions and the booking will occur once the check clears.
• Property: All hard drives, master tapes, etc., remain the property of Tim Barrett Designs until all invoices are paid in full.

• Smoking: Allowed only in designated areas.
• Food and Drink: Allowed only in the studio kitchen.
• Cleanliness: Clients must place their trash in the provided trash cans.
• Neighbors: Please be respectful to the neighbors during arrival and departure.
• Guests: Only those directly involved in the recording are allowed. No boy/girlfriends, friends, relatives, etc. Young children should not be brought to the studio except for brief moments before and after the session, and notice is required if anyone under 18 will be present. Clients are liable for any damages caused by themselves or their guests.

• Data Responsibility: Tim Barrett Designs Studio is not responsible for data left on premises or its loss. Clients are responsible for providing their own storage devices for data backup.
• Downtime: Tim Barrett Designs is not liable for "downtime" due to equipment malfunction, personnel issues, acts of nature, or utility problems. Liability is limited solely to the studio time of the booked session.

• Client Liability: Clients are solely responsible for any damage to the building, equipment, or persons during their session. All damage costs must be paid in full within 48 hours of the incident. Tim Barrett Designs is not responsible for items brought into or left on the premises. Clients are advised to obtain insurance for valuable items.
